party information, and any other information required by law to be collected in
connection with political contributions. We may also collect financial information
when processing payments, including, but not limited to, credit card number, credit
card security number, account information, and information about the date, amount,
and nature of financial transactions.
We, along with the candidate or committee, record this information. The candidate
or committee is responsible for reporting the contribution to the FEC or state regulatory
agency. Each candidate or committee receiving your contribution must include this
personal information in their campaign finance reports. Campaign finance reports
filed with the FEC and applicable state regulatory agencies are publicly reported
and available from the FEC and the applicable state regulatory agencies designated
to oversee campaigns and elections. Election Campaign Management Solutions
does not publicly report your contributions.
C. USE OF THIRD-PARTY VENDORS
Election Campaign Management Solutions is a payment service provider. Credit card
transactions processed on a campaign or committees website is provided by ECMS and
is processed by www.donatebucket.com. ECMS will share your personal data to
these and other third parties in connection with the processing of your contributions
or other services we offer. Any such third parties shall be required to maintain
and use your information in accordance with our privacy policy.
D. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
The personal information you provide us will allow us to: (i) complete your transaction
and provide the services offered through the Site; (ii) provide transaction data
to you in order to manage your payments and donations; (iii) handle/route your customer
service questions or issues; and (iv) to create and display information to you.
